Why Train with Next Step Conditioning Systems?

"Everybody should be doing Squats! If you do not squat, stop coming to the gym! You're wasting your time"
Popular Gym Credo

"Generality is the enemy"
Tom C. Purvis
Founder of the Resistance Training Specialist program (RTS)

If you are thinking "Gee, those two phrases contradict each other" You are right. Now that we have your attention, we would like to answer what's probably in your mind right now "What's the point of all this"

Can you see how the top phrase while popular is very discriminating and based solely on emotions? Good!

Can you now see how the latter phrase while shorter is more factual as it addresses the issue of individual differences? Good! It is also based on decades of dedicated study of human biomechanics in case you were curious.

What does this have to do with Next Step Conditioning Systems Services?

EVERYTHING!

Next Step Conditioning Systems enjoys a remarkable rate of success and a huge retention rate for a good reason. The coaches base their entire practice on the simplest yet most misunderstood principles of biomechanics with a big emphasis on individual differences.

Add to that their dedication to their clients, their passion for learning and improving their education, and their unparalleled professionalism, and it is no wonder they are as successful as they are.

The coaches do understand that every person comes to the door with a unique set of conditions and variables that have helped them excel or fall behind. How does that help you? Very simple! Here is a very small list of the things the coaches can do for you

And so much more!

Top 7 Reasons to train with Next Step Conditioning Systems.

"That all sounds good" you may be thinking "But I'm pretty sure I can get the same in other facilities". We beg to differ.

We have compiled the feedback from our clients into the Top 7 Reasons they choose to train AND stay with Next Step Conditioning Systems. It is what everyone serious about their health, fitness, and conditioning has been looking for:

1.- One fee, and One fee only
There is only one fee that concerns you and that is the fee for whatever program you choose to best help you reach your goals. At Next Step Conditioning Systems we have:

One of the greatest dilemmas of the fitness industry is the huge percentage of memberships that get sporadically used, if at all. Having only to cover your services makes you more accountable as you know that missing your sessions is not the best return for your investment.

2.- Your Biomechanical Analysis and Structural Assessment are always FREE
Next Step Conditioning Systems believes that periodic assessment should be a part of your training program, not an option. It is a common practice for facilities to give your first assessment free and then charge you substantially whenever you need a re-assessment.

To the coaches, that's the equivalent of a restaurant charging extra anytime they change plates and utensils for a different course.

Can you imagine a successful restaurant running in this manner? So, why is it acceptable when it comes to your health and results?

It is the duty of your coaches to track your progress through those assessments and your right to be informed of the results. That's why your services fee include all your periodic re-assessments FREE of charge.

Next Step Conditioning Systems goes well beyond the typical "measure and plug the numbers". Although those assessments provide some basic info, they say nothing of your body's engineering for physical activity. Some of those assessments could in fact, be counterproductive for the sedentary individual looking to get started.

For their training approach and exercise prescription, the coaches rely on their unique form of assessment. They know it as "Objective Biomechanical and Structural Analysis" and it is how the coaches will get familiar with your structure to optimize it for maximum results.

The "Objective Biomechanical and Structural Analysis" requires trained eyes and skills. These trained eyes and skills are the results of hundreds of hours of supervised practice and a deep understanding of biomechanics. No other facility provides you with this type of assessment.

And in case you are wondering, yes, your body fat, circumference measurements, and health screening are included. You get a whole lot more for your hard earned money.

3.- Proper mechanics and proper form for YOUR body
This brings us back to our opening phrases. Perhaps you have heard the familiar "Everyone Should Squat" or "Functional Training is the way to go" or "Sit-ups are bad". The coaches refuse to pay attention to those popular beliefs, or follow protocols.

The coaches know that there's no such thing as a "bad" or "dangerous" exercise. They know what makes an exercise highly productive for some, and very destructive for others is the differences in body structure and inherent conditions.

No two people are equal, and no two people should follow the same exercise prescription. Yes, Generality is the enemy!

The coaches refuse to follow protocols because they are too generic. Exercise prescription should be for the individual and the individual alone. Protocols have the tendency to dictate what "proper form" is regardless of individual differences. Anything deviating from what the protocol orders is considered "poor" form.

In reality, "poor" form is the form that challenges the health and integrity of YOUR structure, even when it conforms to a set of guidelines. Ironically, many individuals attempting to follow the "proper" form dictated by a protocol (for which they may not be built) have found themselves in a frustrating plateau at best, and an injury at worst.

4.- No Crowds or Distractions
Because Next Step Conditioning Systems does not offer memberships, you are guaranteed an atmosphere free of the distractions brought by the crowds present in the typical health clubs.

The major complaint the coaches have heard through their careers is how people who were trying to focus on their training, were always interrupted by those whose goals on the exercise floor involved motives other than serious training.

The coaches have for a long time known what research is validating just now. In order for you to maximize your benefits, your brain MUST be engaged in your program. That means focus, purpose, and problem solving strategies.

This is hard to accomplish in the typical facility. How many times have you seen your training interrupted by:

They are an irritating nuance. They interfere with those trying to reach the next level. They are also non-existent at Next Step Conditioning Systems.

But don't get us wrong! We are not hermits either. Next Step Conditioning Systems encourages socialization, bonding, and interaction. It is an important part of the experience, and one that will forge lasting friendships and memories. However, it should not come at the expense of your training quality or more important, the training quality of others.

If you are looking for a place where you can chat in the middle of the floor, catch up on your reading, or pretend to train in front of a TV, look elsewhere.

5.- Your chance to experience what makes Coach Izzy and Coach James two of the most in-demand professionals in the industry.
Your coaches at Next Step Conditioning Systems, have invested, and continue to invest thousands of dollars and thousands of hours in the pursuit of their education.

Your coaches have opted for a few high quality programs that are the most rigorous but the most enriching in the industry. In fact, your coaches already have their continuing education plans mapped out for at least the next decade to add to their already impressive quality credentials.

Their investment has, and continues paying off as hundreds of happy clients who have regained their health and vitality, transformed their bodies, vastly improved their performance, and discovered that they can engage in their favorite activity without unnecessary pain can testify. Athletes, Celebrities, Entrepreneurs, Moms, Dads, and people from many different walks of life can corroborate how Next Step Conditioning Systems has improved their lives.

Here's just a small example of what they are saying:

I've been training with Izzy and James for over 2 years. They care about what they do. You know you are going to have fun, but you know you're going to be working hard and feel better. New York has lost two very talented guys, but our loss is Bainbridge Island's gain. Rock on!

"I've been training with Izzy and James for over 4 years. I was about 200 lbs. at the end of my first pregnancy. I worked with both of them simultaneously and I never looked better. They complement each other very well. Now at the end of my second pregnancy, I'm 20 lbs. lighter than I was before.
Mandy Whiteley

I absolutely love working with Izzy & James. The two of them changed my life, taught me how to eat and recover. I'm forever going to be grateful

Five years ago I was diagnosed with MS. Israel and James helped bring my health to the most optimal level, better than before my diagnosis. I'm in great health. I'm 5 feet tall but I feel 6 feet tall! You are in great hands with Israel and James

6.- Education not Indoctrination
Next Step Conditioning Systems strives to provide all clients with a positive and constructive atmosphere; one that fosters learning, respect, and camaraderie; one that refrains from judging others, and one that facilitates the formulation of objective conclusions.

Another aspect that makes the Next Step Conditioning Systems experience remarkable is how clients feel empowered by learning more about themselves. The coaches guide them through a journey of self-discovery that teaches them about their uniqueness.

Quite frequently clients rave that their time spent at Next Step Conditioning Systems is more than just a training session, "It's an educational experience." Again and again, the coaches hear how their clients LOVED learning about:

And the list is more extensive. The coaches want their clients to be self-sufficient and open minded but able to distinguish fact from quack, in other words, to become their OWN impartial judges.

Next Step Conditioning Systems will never tell you how superior you are just because you follow a specific training modality. Next Step Conditioning Systems will never tell you how everyone else not training like you is destined to go the way of the Dodo bird. Furthermore, Next Step Conditioning Systems will never discourage you from trying other training approaches.

The coaches help their clients gain new perspectives and make proper decisions based on education. They don't teach their clients to blindly repeat what they hear as this deteriorates into fanatic indoctrination, one of the most destructive environments in any aspects of life.

Next Step Conditioning Systems is a place where we all share and respect each other. There will be a healthy competitive aspect whenever needed, but without boastfulness or condescension. Everyone is required to check their ego at the door.

7.- The "Your Satisfaction or Your Money Back" Guarantee
The coaches know the importance of maximizing your returns for your investments. They know you are part of something unique, a transformation that will carry you to your goals while keeping you healthy and safe.

The coaches have many years of combined experience and have been very successful in helping their clients. That's why they are not hesitant to offer their 100% Money Back Guarantee.

All the coaches want in return is your cooperation and willingness. That's all. Combine that with their guidance and their unique approaches, and it is impossible to fail. Do you know anyone else willing to make this guarantee?

Your Satisfaction or Money Back

What is costing you more

If you are thinking, "Well let me think about it. I can get cheaper training elsewhere", we can certainly say "Sure you can".

However, we can also say, with certainty, that our premium services and options have not been matched anywhere else. We can also say that without a doubt, our coaches are top in the industry with impressive credentials, years of productive experience, and satisfied clients to prove it.

Sure you can pay less at other facilities, but that does not mean you are getting more for your hard earned money. Sure you can put it off to "think about it" but you will not wake up better tomorrow. Sure you can get by on your own for awhile, but that does not mean your training plan, if you have one, is suited to your unique conditions and needs.

What is REALLY costing, and costing you BIG, when it comes to your training?

These are the things that have been sucking your funds dry, in front of YOU, without you even realizing:

Procrastination Every day, every hour you delay your start-up your waist expands more, your misalignments ache more, your overuse injuries perpetuate, your bad form gets worse, and your conditioning falls further behind. General Norman Schwarzkopf said it best: "Indecision has cost American's more money than the wrong decision". The longer you wait, the more time you'll spend; first trying to repair the damage, and then trying to catch up. The time to act is NOW!!!

Poor Form That's right. Any time you perform physical activities, which are not meant for your structure, you are performing with "poor form". It doesn't matter if you follow the general guidelines.

Poor form is one of those hidden costs that many people fail to recognize until the consequences show up to collect the bill.

Aching joints, overtaxed systems, unexplained injuries, loss of gains, etc, will cost you something far more precious than just money. They will cost you in productivity, enjoyment in life, and your health. And who said treatment of those injuries would be cheap?

The adamant thinking Whenever you refuse to learn something simply because it is different from what you are used to, or ardently adhere to a training protocol as if your life depended on it, you have already set yourself up for failure.

Overuse injuries, stagnation, plateaus, boredom, and ultimately quitting in worse shape than before is what you can expect in return for worshipping a particular training modality or for refusing to adopt a different style simply because it conflicted with your ego.

Good bye gains, hello pains! What would be next? Reconsider, explore, and learn? Let pride overcome reason and get the same injury after a lengthy healing process? Or just wait for the new fad?

Lack of Planning Staring at a TV while mindlessly moving is not training. Not if you have the capacity to do more.

Going "all out" all the time is not training. It is ignorance of the systems of the body and inviting overtraining.

Engaging in unpractical training modes just because somebody said "they're real life" is not training. It's blind acceptance.

These are the same people who repeat all the time "I don't understand, I train so much and get no results"

Do any of those scenarios sound familiar? So many views, so many training strategies and they all contradict each other. But do they have to? With proper planning you will discover that there's no conflict, only lack of planning skills.

Where's your plan? Do you hit the floor and hope for the best? Or do you get something generic from a magazine that may not apply to you at all? Or have you been doing the same thing over and over? Failing to plan is planning to fail!

Unrealistic Goals (Set by YOU) One of the biggest aspects of the failure to plan, is how this materializes into unrealistic goals. Poor planning strategies added to emotions and a warped sense of time, set the stage for the impossible conquest of scenarios that only occur in infomercials.

If it's May and you think it's time to start getting ready for the summer, you are about a year too late.

Trying to lose 30 pounds for the get-together scheduled for next month is not determination, it's a sure way to fail.

Trying to train for a marathon when you have just started a walking program is not setting ambitious goals, is inviting plantar fascitis and stress fractures to keep you faithful company for the next few years.

If you find yourself investing your resources in dreams that never materialize, then the answer is very simple, your goals were too unrealistic.

And the damage to your wallet? Probably did not even notice it. Too busy chasing dreams.

Unrealistic Goals (Set by OTHERS) "Performance" goals set not by you, but by some other standards. Lifting a certain amount of weight in a particular lift, completing a task on a time frame, losing copious amounts of fat tissue in a short time, and many other sometimes extravagant standards are being used to tell people what they should be doing to qualify as being "fit".

There's absolutely nothing wrong with working to meet those standards if your structure allows it, it's relevant to your goals, and you are physically ready. But doing it just because somebody is telling you and everybody else is doing it makes very little sense.

A lot of times these standards come heavily biased by those who use them, or the sport in which they participate. Olympic Lifters, Powerlifters, Tri-athletes, Mixed Martial Artists, they all have difference standards of performance, none of which could be applicable to you at that time. Same goes for those who only measure their progress through a scale and charts.

Trying to meet those standards when they are not relevant to you is setting yourself up for short-lived fitness success, and plenty of frustration in the future. Your goals must be realistic for YOU, based on YOUR circumstances, and YOUR structure. The rest is just supplemental.

The idea is beautifully summarized by the following phrase:

"If you think learning is expensive, wait till you see how much ignorance costs you"

The bottom line
